Early detection is a woman's best defense. Windham Hospital is here to provide caring, competent care for a variety of diagnostic services that allow us to make a diagnosis and begin appropriate treatment as early as possible.
Mammography Services
Windham Mammography Center - Outpatient mammography screening facility for routine annual examinations.
Location: Route 195, Storrs, Connecticut
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m., with additional evening appointments available. Appointments may be made by contacting the Center at 456-7237.
Women's Diagnostic Center - Breast Imaging Services, including diagnostic mammograms, breast needle localization procedures and stereotactic breast biopsies. Appointments may be made by contacting the Center at 456-6905.
Location: Windham Hospital, 3rd floor, Main or Shea entrance.
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
Bone Density & Breast Ultrasound
Bone Density - Dexa exams, to evaluate for osteoporosis, are performed in the Nuclear Medicine Department of Radiology. Appointments may be made by contacting our Central Scheduling Department at 456-6970.
Location: Windham Hospital, Radiology 1st floor, Greer Entrance.
Hours of operation: Monday - Friday 7:00 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.
Breast Ultrasound - Ultrasound exams are performed in the Ultrasound Department of Radiology. Appointments may be made by contacting our Central Scheduling Department at 456-6970.
Location: Windham Hospital, Radiology 1st floor, Greer Entrance.
