Overview
Windham Hospital offers a wide variety of cancer services both directly through our hospital staff and through collaborative relationships with Oncology Associates, P.C., a multi-physician practice based at the Helen and Harry Gray Cancer Center in Hartford, CT and the UConn Health Center. Through these relationships we are able to provide the most comprehensive technology to our patients right here at Windham Hospital. Caregivers create an environment that is respectful and caring and encourage patients to become partners in the determination and delivery of their own care.
Windham Hospital is currently seeking accreditation as a Community Cancer Program due to the wide range of services that are provided to patients and their families. Our oncology team offers diagnosis, related treatments and support services to assist patients in dealing with their disease.

Cancer Services Departments
Ambulatory Medical Unit
Location: Shea Building, 2nd Floor
Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday 6 a.m.- 7 p.m.
Windham Hospital's Ambulatory Medical Unit provides an array of intravenous therapies, including blood transfusions, chemotherapy, injections, antibiotic therapy, minor surgical and medical procedures.
Dr. Harry Fox Cancer Resource Center
Location: 1st floor Hatch Wing ( across from cafeteria)
Hours of Operation: Monday by appointment only between 10 am and 1 pm. Call 456-6896 X2213 to schedule an appointment; Tuesday, Wednesday and Friday 9-12 pm
The Dr. Harry Fox Cancer Resource Center at Windham Hospital is run by the American Cancer Society and provides information about various topics pertaining to cancer. Additionally, wigs, wig liners, caps, prosthesis and bras are available for patients. There is a video library and a VCR to allow for viewing of materials.

Cancer Registry
The Cancer Registry collects data on all cancer cases and registers the data with the National Center Data Bank. All information collected is confidential and is designed to improve treatment and survival in patients.
Cancer Support Services
Windham Hospital convenes a Breast Cancer Support Group on the 3rd Monday of each month at 7:00 p.m. in the 3West Waiting Room
