So you're having a baby! Through the Alma
G. Hatch Women's Health Center at Windham
Hospital we are pleased to offer programs
and services to help provide you and your
child the best start in life by properly
preparing you for the big arrival day and
the days that will follow. All of our classes
are taught by Certified Instructors who
have years of experience to share with
parents.
The best time for an expectant mother or
parents to register for classes is in the
beginning of the 4th month of pregnancy.

We offer the following classes on a
rolling schedule or by arrangement:
- Prepared Childbirth Class (Lamaze)
- Childbirth Refresher Class
- Sibling Class (for children 3-9 years
of age)
- Sibling at Birth (private class for
children who wish to be present for
the birth)
- Adoption Class (care, feeding, home
preparation)
- Breastfeeding classes (private or group
setting)
- Infant Massage
- Infant & Child CPR (basic life support
& safety class)
- Baby Basics (diapering, bathing, consoling,
safety)
- Mommy & ME Luncheon (bringing together
new Mom's for support & friendship)
- Hypno- birthing: COMING SOON!!
- Unit Tours: visit our state-of-the-art
facility and meet our professional staff
Fees vary for each class and are adjustable
for those on financial assistance. Please
