Acupuncture is effective for pain, stress, chronic illness, medication side effects and much more, and Heather Finn, Windham Hospital offers a Community Acupuncture Clinic every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patients are treated in a group setting, using acupuncture points below the elbows and knees, similar to the way treatment is provided in China.
, L.Ac., says she had her first acupuncture treatment while working as a non-profit fund-raiser. "As a fund-raiser I raised money for other people to do work that changed people's lives. As an acupuncturist, I help people transform their lives directly, holistically, and effectively."
Heather has nine years of experience as a licensed acupuncturist. She received her M.Ac., Master of Acupuncture degree, from the New England School of Acupuncture in 2000.
