Acupuncture is effective for pain, stress, chronic illness, medication side effects and much more, and Heather Finn, Windham Hospital offers a Community Acupuncture Clinic every Friday from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Patients are treated in a group setting, using acupuncture points below the elbows and knees, similar to the way treatment is provided in China.
, L.Ac., is nationally board certified in both Acupuncture and Chinese Herbal Medicine. Having trained in Chicago at Pacific College of Oriental Medicine Emily wanted to return to the community where she was first inspired. “Having grown up in Windham, I am excited to have a more direct influence on the health and well-being of my community.” Along with her expertise, Emily brings compassion and a wealth of new information to her clients who rave about her skills and the improvements they have experienced. “I was shocked at the results…these treatment modalities are so subtle, but ever so effective.”
Emily works at the hospital on Fridays from 10am-3pm in the Integrative Health Breathing Space located on the 2nd floor across from the former cafeteria.
