Position Title: Family Centered Care Coordinator-Temporary

Department:Family Centered Care
Position Description: State license to practice in a healthcare related profession in CT; Masters prepared in a related field. Five or more years of progressively responsible supervisory healthcare management experience, including hospital supervisory experience. A certified, licensed professional who coordinates and assumes the administrative responsibilities for Family Centered Care. Acts as a staff liaison for the formulation of Family Advisory Committees within the hospital environment, coordinating meetings, organizational structure and guidelines for all members including community and staff. Provides education in the philosophy of patients as families and partners in healthcare; creating opportunities for interaction of staff with patients and families.
