Free Integrative Health Lecture Series Continues at Windham Hospital
The Integrative Health Steering Committee at Windham Hospital hosts “For the Health of It,” a Wednesday evening lecture series, each month. The next event, slated for November 18th at 7 pm, is entitled “Living the Holidays with Wellness and Meaning,” and will be presented by practitioners from A Wellness Collaborative in Windham. The lecture will take place in the Hospital’s Education Center, located just off the Atrium Entrance to the Hospital.
The evening will be focused on identifying common holiday stressors and pitfalls while learning some very practical skills for supporting ourselves—body, mind, and spirit—during this busy and demanding season.
Participants will have the opportunity to explore the subject matter in a fun, creative manner. Come prepared for an insightful and informative look into this ever-present issue, and go home with some useful and supportive tools. Plan on an evening that is both lively and engaging!
The Lecture Series is a service of the Integrative Health Service at Windham Hospital. In addition to the Lecture Series, Integrative Health Services offers therapeutic massage, Reiki, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, nutritional counseling, and the free Community Health Resource Room at Windham Hospital. Additional information is available on the Hospital website at www.windhamhospital.org. Windham Hospital is a member of Hartford Healthcare.
The educational programs presented by Integrative Health Services are provided as a community service, and are not necessarily endorsements of a particular health regimen or practitioner by Windham Hospital.
