Maternity & Childbirth

Maternity & Childbirth Services
If you’re welcoming a new little person into your family, Windham Hospital’s spacious, private rooms offer family-friendly accommodations. Your partner can participate in the entire birth process, from labor to delivery and recovery. The entire process occurs in one room—no disruptive moves—and comfortable furniture gives the room a pleasant, home-style feeling. There is ample room for rooming-in Dads and a private bath in each room. Liberal visiting policies and family lounges allow other family members extra time to get acquainted with the newest member of the family. Whether this is your first child, or your fourth, this is a very special time for you, and our staff will help you make it happen.
Windham Hospital offers a team approach…and we have a dedicated team of experts who see you through every stage of your pregnancy. We offer preparation classes leading up to the birth. Throughout labor and delivery, experienced RNs are by your side, supporting and guiding you. A high-tech monitoring system allows physicians and other caregivers to follow your progress, either in the room or remotely. Following the delivery, our staff offers help and expert advice, including nursing coaching. You and your baby are in the best of hands at Windham Hospital!
