Congressman Courtney Speaks at Windham Hospital
Windham Hospital hosted an informational session on the recently enacted healthcare reform legislation with Congressman Joe Courtney on Friday, May 14, 2010. Senator Edith Prague, hospital leadership and members of the community heard Congressman Courtney discuss key investments in Medicaid and children’s health, improving Medicare, tax incentives for businesses and a focus on preventing chronic disease and improving public health.
