Customer Service and Scheduling Offices Relocated to First Floor of Hospital
WILLIMANTIC, CT – July 29, 2008 – Beginning the week of July 28, 2008, patients and visitors can access the Customer Service staff on the first floor of Outpatient Center, near the Registration Desk. Additionally, the Schedulers will be working from a remodeled office in the Radiology area, also on the first floor, to provide proximity to all services and related staff. The move will be seamless to patients.
A patient who comes to the hospital to meet with the Customer Service staff will enter the Greer Entrance for Outpatient Services and the volunteer at the desk will contact Customer Service to escort the patient to their offices. Customer Service will continue to accept payments from patients and forward them to the Cashier to eliminate the need for the patient to go to the third floor. Patients who wish to inquire about Financial Assistance after speaking to Customer Service will be directed to their office around the corner on the first floor.
Patients are advised to follow signs to the Greer Entrance and enter the Outpatient Entrance for these services. Patients that enter from the Main/Shea entrance will be provided directions at the Information Desk or by the Cashier office if they go to the old office on the third floor.
The Patient Access Department strives to provide quality service to our patients and the move of the staff will enhance service delivery systems. The relocation of offices to the first floor will also provide easy access to patients who come to the hospital for outpatient services.
