Free Integrative Health Lecture Series Continues at Windham Hospital
WILLIMANTIC, CT – April 20, 2010 – The Integrative Health Steering Committee at Windham Hospital hosts “For the Health of It,” a Wednesday evening lecture series, each month. The next event, slated for April 28th, is entitled, “An Introduction to the Wellness Aspect of Feng Shui” and will be presented by Micheley Angelina, a certified practitioner of Feng Shui transformations. The event will take place at 7 PM in the Windham Hospital Education Center.The evening will focus on using Feng Shui to address various physical, mental and emotional problems. Attendees are welcome to bring a floorplan of their house and surrounding environs to receive specific help. During her career, Micheley has managed a natural food store in Vermont, studied Native American and English herbology, and has operated The Transformational Institute for Body/Mind/Spirit Healing in Waterford, Connecticut. She has been practicing Feng Shui for 21 years, working with architects to incorporate Feng Shui into the design of homes and businesses.
The Lecture Series is a service of the Integrative Health Service at Windham Hospital. Future topics will include: Integrative Medicine and Reducing Health Care Costs; Cultivating Your Spirituality for Health; Massage Cupping; An Overview of Holistic Psychotherapy and Life Force Yoga for Mental Health; and Reiki for Self Healing. In addition to the Lecture Series, Integrative Health Services offers therapeutic massage, Reiki, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, nutritional counseling, and the free Community Health Resource Room at Windham Hospital and at the Hospital’s Center for Women’s Health at Mansfield.
