FIRST NIAGARA FOUNDATION FUNDS WOMEN'S HEALTH SERVICES AT WINDHAM HOSPITAL
The Windham Hospital Foundation today announced that it has received a grant of $25,000 from the First Niagara Foundation to help support maternity and women’s health services at Windham Hospital.
“We are thrilled to partner with the First Niagara Foundation to assist in developing and enhancing programs that improve the quality of life for women in the region,” commented Mona Friedland, Executive Director of the Windham Hospital Foundation.
Windham Hospital delivers approximately 450 babies each year and nearly 60 percent are low-income women served by the hospital’s women’s health programs. Providing assistance to low-moderate income communities is a priority of the First Niagara Foundation and this request to purchase equipment and new birthing beds will enhance the patient experience for everyone who seeks maternity services at Windham Hospital.
