Free Integrative Health Lecture Series Continues at Windham Hospital
WILLIMANTIC, CT – March 14, 2008 – The Integrative Health Steering Committee at Windham Hospital hosts “For the Health of It,” a Wednesday evening lecture series, each month. The March event, presented by Fran Storch, N.D., is “The Immune System: Your Foundation for Good Health.” It will take place on Wednesday, March 26, 2008, from 7 –
9 pm in the Hospital’s Bernard & Desrosier Rooms.
Fran Storch, N.D., is a naturopathic physician who has been in practice for 12 years. She studied at the National College of Naturopathic Medicine in Portland, Oregon, and. practiced in Newfoundland and Nova Scotia, Canada, and Mystic, Connecticut, before beginning practice in Willimantic and Mansfield. Fran takes an eclectic, compassionate, whole-person approach in helping others heal. Her presentation will focus on the immune system and natural medicine.
The Lecture Series is a service of the Integrative Health Service at Windham Hospital. Other offerings include therapeutic massage, Reiki, acupuncture, yoga, meditation, nutritional counseling, and the free Community Health Resource Room at Windham Hospital.
