Windham Hospital Auxiliary Seeking Nominations for Physician and Caregiver of the Year
The Auxiliary to Windham Hospital is seeking nominations for two of its highest honors: Physician of the Year and Caregiver of the Year. The awards will be presented at Windham Hospital’s 16th annual “Autumn Gala” on Saturday, November 12, 2011 at the Marriott Hotel at Adrian’s Landing in Hartford. Criteria for consideration for these two awards include:
ˇ Must be currently affiliated with Windham Hospital
ˇ Must be active in the affairs of the hospital
ˇ Must participate in community activities
ˇ Must contribute to the improvement of health in the community
Must exemplify the best in the Physician/Caregiver-patient relationship

The Auxiliary to Windham Hospital was established soon after the hospital opened in 1933. The purpose of the Auxiliary is to promote the interests and welfare of Windham Hospital within the community through educational programs, fundraising events and social activities.
