Free Integrative Health Lecture Series Continues at Windham Hospital

WILLIMANTIC, CT – May 8, 2009 – The Integrative Health Steering Committee at Windham Hospital hosts “For the Health of It,” a Wednesday evening lecture series, each month. The next event, slated for May 27th at 7 PM in the Hatch Day Room at Windham Hospital, is entitled Meditation: Beginning Practice & Creating the Habit, and is presented by Clare Vidich.

“Previewing” the evening to the Integrative Health Steering Committee, Clare commented that “we tap into our inner resources through meditation, we can experience a profound transformation that can enrich all areas of our lives. By practicing meditation, we find more peace and harmony in our day and in our relationships.” She added that the lecture will provide the tools needed to make meditation part of daily life, and will feature a “meditation sitting”—a session of group meditation.
