Windham Hospital is served by the physicians of Jefferson Radiology. Together, we can provide state of the art CT scans, providing a faster, easier, and more comfortable scan experience. Most importantly, CT scanning delivers clear, detailed images, and assists our radiologists in the accurate diagnosis of a wide variety of conditions, including detailed imaging of the heart and coronary arteries. Our diagnostic imaging services includes digital mammography, and our new equipment (Hologic Selenia Digital Mammography System) offers exceptionally sharp images that give physicians and their patients the information needed for diagnosis and discussion. Physicians from Jefferson Radiology interpret results both on-site at Windham Hospital and in their remote offices, when additional consultation is required. We offer digital mammography services in 2 convenient locations:

Services at the Center for Breast Imaging also include breast needle localization procedures, sterotactic breast biopsies, and breast MRI.
Breast Ultrasound is performed in the Hospital's Outpatient Ultrasound Department (first floor), from 7 AM - 5:30 PM, Monday-Friday. Contact Central Scheduling to set up an appointment at 860.456.6970.
 Your physician will refer you to the Imaging Department for the proper tests and treatment, and will make the appointment for you, or you may contact our Central Scheduling Department at 456-6970.
Prior to your appointment, you will receive pre-procedure instructions and information to help you prepare for your tests.

Jefferson Radiology--Connecticut’s premier group of radiology specialists--provides professional imaging services at Windham Hospital, including the interpretation of diagnostic imaging studies and interventional radiology treatments. Once the images are created, Jefferson’s radiologists are able to review and interpret the information onsite at Windham, or through the advanced Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) at Windham Hospital, in their Hartford offices. This critical diagnostic information can then e reported back to the patient's physician at Windham Hospital via the PACS.
 | | Windham Hospital’s mammography facilities are accredited by the ACR (American College of Radiology) and certified by the FDA. Many of the hospital’s radiology services have also received accreditation by American College of Radiology. The radiologists at Windham Hospital are all board certified and meet the ACR's requirements for continuing education in the field of radiology. Our technical staff have all graduated from an approved program of Radiologic Technology or specialty programs and are registered in their specific fields as well as licensed by the State of Connecticut if applicable.
