Free Integrative Health Lecture Series Continues at Windham Hospital
WILLIMANTIC, CT – April 11, 2008 – The Integrative Health Steering Committee at Windham Hospital hosts “For the Health of It,” a Wednesday evening lecture series, each month. The April event, presented by Lois Grasso, is “Laugh, Breathe and Tap Into an Abundant Energy Supply.” It will take place on Wednesday, April 30, 2008, from 7 – 9 pm in the Hospital’s Bernard & Desrosier Rooms.
Lois Grasso is founder and director of the OxyGenesis Institute (www.oxygenesis.org), a non-profit dedicated to teaching personal energy management skills, such as deliberate breathing and laughter, EFT & Psych-K. She also maintains a private practice in Hartford as a Therapeutic Life Coach. Lois says, “There is an abundant supply of positive energy in you, lurking just beneath the surface of that “stressed-out” feeling, and you can tap into that energy supply using these techniques. Rigorous laughter is just one way to get the health benefits of deep breathing.”
Designed to be fun as well as informative, this workshop also touches on self-directed pain management and emotional freedom using EFT. Says Grasso, “Come, tap, breathe and laugh with us. Your life will never be the same!”
The Lecture Series is a service of the Integrative Health Service at Windham Hospital.
