Position Title: Administrative Coordinator

Department:Nursing Administration
Position Description: Under the direction of the Director of Inpatient Nursing Services, the Administrative Coordinator assumes overall responsibility to supervise, analyze and coordinate the operations of all departments on the assigned shift. The Administrative Coordinator functions as the hospital's chief administrative authority for operational matters on the evening, night and weekend or holiday shift. Effectively interacts with patient's families and significant others. 3-5 years of acute care experience in progressively responsible roles, including one to two years management / supervision experience. Previous critical care and/or emergency department experience preferred. Strong interpersonal communication skills required. Current State of CT RN license. BLS and ACLS certification required. BA/BS/BSN required. Graduate degree preferred.
