Position Title: Administrative Coordinator

Department:Nursing Administration
Position Description: Under the direction of the Vice President of Patient Care Services, the Administrative Coordinator assumes overall responsibility to supervise, analyze, and coordinate the operations of all departments on the assigned shift. The Admnistrative Coordinator functions as the hospital's chief administrative authority for operational matters on the evening, night, weekend , or holiday shift. Effectively interacts with patient's families and significant others. 3-5 years of acute care experience in progressively responsible roles, including two years management/supervisory experience. Previous critical care and emergency department experience preferred. Strong interpersonal communication skills required. Current State of Connecticut RN license. BLS certification required. BA/BS/BSN required, Graduate degree preferred.
