| Position Description: | BSN or Bachelor's Degree in health related field. Graduate studies in Informatics preferred. 1-5 years informatics experience with at least 5 years clinical experience. Some duties include but are not limited to coordinate, in collaboration with the Information Technology Department and system vendors all aspects of planning, design, development, implementation, enhancement, testing and evaluation of current and any future clinical information system. Collaborate with the multidisciplinary patient care team, nursing leadership, nursing education and health information management to enhance patient safety, streamline the patient care process, incorporates evidence based workflow standards, including hospital policies and procedures into the clinical information systems as they relate to nursing practices, regulatory requirements, The Joint Commission Standards, current trends and healthcare issues. Manager reports directly to Vice President, Patient Care Services. |
