Position Title: CCU Clinical Manager

Department:Critical Care Unit
Position Description: BSN required, MSN preferred; will consider martriculating MSN. Minimum of 5 years medical -surgical intensive care experience. Prior experience in adult teaching/learning environments preferred; coordination of critical care competencies or classes, monitoring RNs at the bedside, employee evaluations and scheduling. Performs a wide range of quality activities and development of unit specific/evidence based policies and procedures within established expertise. Training and monitoring of practice to achieve and maintain those standards by providing clinical direction and ensuring clinical competence of staff. Primary focus will be in Critical Care with additional leadership role in Pain Management and Interventional Radiology (IR - to be developed). Reports to the Director of Inpatient Nursing Services for Critical Care and to Director of Radiology for IR. BLS, ACLS required,

Shift Time Schedule:8:00 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. with some flexibilityAverage Weekly Hours:40
Days:Monday - Friday with rare weekend
