Position Title: Nurse Manager- Medical/Surgical

Department:Nursing Administration
Position Description: Current RN license, BSN required, MSN preferred. 3-5 years experience as a staff nurse in an acute care setting with experience in general surgery and orthopedic surgical patients. Prior supervisory experience preferred. Experience in pediatrics a plus. Under the direction of the in-patient nursing director supervises employees on the medical/surgical unit to ensure 24 hour accountability. Implements department goals and objectives. Assumes responsibility for out patient surgical wound and pain clinics.
