Position Title:
Patient Care Technician I
Department:
Critical Care Unit
Position Description:
High school diploma or equivalent required. Must be a licensed CNA, nursing student.Six months experience and knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills preferred. Previous experience in a medical setting desired.Previous experience with telemetry and arrhythmia detection preferred. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and interact effectively with health team members and patients. Must complete telemetry courses and pass the exam. Candidate must be willing to perform the duties of other positions within the department for which he/she is qualified.
