Position Title:
Patient Care Technician II - CCU
Department:
Critical Care Unit
Position Description:
High School diploma or equivalent required. Must be a C.N.A. or nursing student. Six months experience and knowledge of medical terminology and computer skills desirable. Previous experience in a medical setting desired. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills and interact effectively with health team members and patients. Previous experience with telemetry and arrhythmia detection preferred. Must complete telemetry course and pass the exam. Candidate must be willing to perform the duties of other positions within the department for which he/she is qualified. Formal cross training is voluntary and encouraged by the Hospital and Local 5099.
