Position Title: Phlebotomist

Department:Laboratory
Position Description: High School diploma or equivalent required and Certified Phlebotomy program desired. Certified Phlebotomist (or eligible) with a minimum of one year of experience in a hospital setting. Performs phlebotomy on patient's in-house, out-patient drawing station, at nursing homes, house calls or other facilities as needed. Order entry of lab tests into lab system. Knowledge of medical terminology and ICD-9 coding a plus. Position includes specimen processing and clerical duties. Valid driver's license required.
